***SACRED HEART BASKETBALL UPDATE***

COVID protocols: We have to remain vigilant in the fight against COVID to allow our children to continue to play basketball.  We expect everyone to follow and respect the rules listed below. I understand everyone has different opinions or views on the topic but our volunteers are just following the protocols. Please ensure everyone complies.

• Please do not enter the gym until 5 min before game time (or directed earlier by the volunteers) and leave directly after the game. Our volunteers have to ensure we reduce the amount of people in the gym at one time and we have to clean the facility and equipment. 
• All spectators, volunteers, refs and coaches have to wear a mask from entry in the gym until exiting the Facility.  Players need to wear their mask on the bench. 
• Entry and exit of the facility will take place in the back of the lot with the 4 big red double doors. Inside the gym will have separate exit and entrance to the back lot.
• Please make sure everyone brings a mask. We do not have any on hand. 

If you have not paid for Spartan League, please bring cash, check (made to Sacred Heart YAC) or Venmo . The cost is $100 for the first child and $75 for additional children from your immediate family. Jerseys will not be given out until your balance is paid in full.

We are finally able to give our children a safe and enjoyable basketball experience. The parents, children and board of directors have worked hard to get us to the point of play. Let’s all work together to make this experience a great one for our kids. Volunteers are always welcomed as well. There is a lot of work and due diligence involved with maintaining the COVID  protocols and we need everyone’s help to make this happen. Email me with your availability to volunteer and help out, The first weekend will include collecting fees, handing out jerseys and keeping the gym clean.

How we conduct ourselves is a direct reflection of our parish. Our professional conduct is also a great teaching moment for our children.
